|Recommended: NoNeeds Renovation — I rented at Unit 2, the small first floor studio. The positives I can say about the place are that it is generally quiet it insulates noise from the street quite well , it has great light lots of southern exposure , and the neighbors are very nice. However, since SBA likes to raise the rent each year, the unit is very overpriced for what it is, and needs extensive renovation in order for me to recommend renting it. When I arrived, it was clear that this property had not been cleaned or even looked at by management, and there were numerous maintenence issues that were not taken care of. In particular, the kitchen sink would not turn off, and the toilet leaked a lot of water from the bottom each flush you can even see the leak in the 3D tour if you go to the bathroom . The positives I can say are that maintenance helped fix these issues promptly, and that the staff were helpful in the process. Though, like I said, I cannot recommend renting here unless it is renovated. The insulation is terrible, the ceiling tiles are old and stained, it has a sinking floor, the radiators are pretty busted the place requires a space heater to keep it from being freezing cold , etc... It pretty much needs new everything. Though, if renovated, it would be a pretty nice place.
